In your mercy, please pray for the repose of the soul of Margret Fielding, one of Wes' "spare" sisters.
She lost her battle with cancer on Wednesday and is being buried this afternoon.
We are on our way to Texas this evening for the memorial service tomorrow.

Give rest, O Christ, to thy servant with thy saints, where sorrow and pain are no more, neither sighing, but life everlasting.

So if you don't pray for her repose, she'll come (or her sould will come)back for some sort of unfinished business revenge?
If you don't believe in Purgatory (and since your protestant, you can't), why do you pray for the dead?

Well, at least when you troll, you do it with your name attached.

Praying that someone finds rest and growth in god after death isn't the same as admitting belief in the doctrine of purgatory. You are quite correct that I don't buy it, simply because I think it's silly. Buy your nasty tone in response to a prayer request indicates that you, no doubt, assume that I have to match your definitions in order to be taken seriously. One dose grow tired of Roman attempts at defining the world in only their way.
