Some of my down right sharpness of late is due to the illness of my Grandfather.
He passed into larger life on Monday evening and I would ask, in your charity, that you pray for the repose of his soul. My Family also stands in the need of prayer as we begin that strange ritual called "visitation" tomorrow.
His funeral is on Monday, and we could use with prayers then as well.

Came over from the lair of the Mad Priest; I am so sorry for your loss and yes, visitation is a strange ritual indeed. Prayers for you and family.

Friar John, may your grandfather rest in peace and rise in glory. May God comfort and console you and your family through the visitation and funeral and after. May God's peace which passes understanding keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Hang in there John. All will be well.

They were together nearly 70 years?!

OMG, that's a serious oucher. Wow.

Hug your Gran big-time for everyone. Is she ok, considering?

:sigh:

What an enormous loss.
